Current grain growth models have evolved to account for the relationship between grain boundary energy/mobility anisotropy and the five degrees of grain boundary character. However, the role of grain boundary networks on overall growth kinetics remains poorly understood. To experimentally investigate this problem, a highly textured Al2O3 was fabricated by colloidal casting in a strong magnetic field to engineer a unique spatial distribution of grain boundary character. Microstructural evolution was quantified and compared to an untextured sample. From this comparison, a prevalence of (0001)/(0001) terminated grain boundaries with anisotropic networks were identified in the textured sample. These boundaries and their networks were found to be driving grain growth at a faster rate than predicted by models. These findings will allow better modelling of grain growth in real systems by experimentally exploring the impact thereon of grain boundary plane anisotropy and relative energy/mobility differences between neighboring boundaries.  相似文献

Enhancement of thermoelectric properties by virtue of decreased electrical resistance through grain boundary engineering is realised in this study. A robust strategy of optimisation of the transport properties by tuning the energy filtering effects at the interfaces by decreasing the interfacial electrical resistance is achieved in LaCoO3 (LCO). This is accomplished by the incorporation of multilayer graphene within the parent LCO matrix containing multi-scale nano/micro grains. The present work has attained a substantial increment in electrical conductivity from a value of 96 Scm-1 for bare LCO to ~5300 Scm-1 at 750 K by incorporating 0.08 wt% multilayer graphene in LCO. No significant change in thermal conductivity is observed due to the presence of multilayer graphene in LCO. A zT of 0.33 at 550 K for 0.08 wt% multi-layer graphene incorporated LCO composite is achieved which is the highest thermoelectric figure of merit value for undoped LCO reported until now.  相似文献

为满足超高速撞击典型Whipple防护构型的损伤评估需求,利用图像处理技术对碎片云序列阴影图像进行深入研究。使用超高速序列激光阴影成像仪得到三组不同实验条件下碎片云发展过程的高清阴影图像,分别对每组最具代表性的2帧进行图像处理分析;根据碎片云图像特点以及碎片运动特性,提出了一种改进的碎片二次特征匹配算法,该方法包含碎片粗定位、特征定义及初匹配和精确匹配三步策略;通过运用改进的匹配算法,对选取的相邻两帧图片完成碎片高效匹配,并提取匹配碎片的运动参数,进而分析碎片的速度分布和飞行角度分布,获取二次碎片云相关运动特性;得到三组实验各自的轨迹模拟图。根据得到的轨迹分析结果分别对三组实验的后板损伤进行估计,并通过与防护构型的实际损伤结果进行比较,验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

在分析现有轮廓线提取方法不足的基础上,提出基于虚拟格网的建筑物轮廓线自动提取方法。该方法利用建筑物点云生成虚拟格网并进行二值填充;采用邻域分析方法进行边界格网的标记与追踪;为了避免边界追踪错误,设计了基于方向的单边缘格网抑制方法及基于距离的连接关系调整方法以改善提取结果质量;根据格网追踪结果,从原始建筑物点云中提取真实轮廓点以保持原始建筑物轮廓形态;采用随机抽样一致性估计及最小二乘拟合方法进行轮廓线规则化处理,实现建筑物轮廓线的自动提取。实验结果表明,该方法能快速从建筑物点云中提取轮廓线,可为建筑物轮廓线的自动提取提供一种可行的解决方案。  相似文献

In this research work, a 40-km2 SPOT-5 High-Resolution Imagery (HRI) of the Warsak locality in district Peshawar, Pakistan, was utilized to approximate the quantity of cultivated land lost to urbanization, due to the construction of new homes and buildings. The imagery from a period of 2005 to 2015 for wheat crop was taken, specifically during the months of March and June when the crop is rich green and golden ripe respectively. eCognition ® program’s Object-Oriented Classification Method (OOCM) was employed for recognition of land versus buildings. Nearest Neighbour (NN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Trees (DT) and Random Forests (RF) were utilized for the classification process. The results demonstrated that the urbanized area had increased by approximately 28 per cent in the area considered. Moreover, the efficacy of the proposed method is depicted by an accuracy of 97.9 per cent and a Kappa Statistics of 0.975 for the SVM classifier.  相似文献

In [1] a procedure for bias-free estimation of the autocorrelation function is introduced for equidistantly sampled data with randomly occurring samples being invalid. The method incorporates sample-and-hold interpolation of the missing data points. The occurring dynamic error of the primary estimate of the correlation function is treated by a deconvolution procedure with two parameters c0 and c1 with c0+2c1=1, which are the on-diagonal and the aside-diagonal parameters of a specific correction matrix (at all lag times except zero). The parameters c0 and c1 were obtained as a function of the probability α of a sample to be valid by numerical simulation. However, explicit expressions for the parameters c0(α)=12α+2α2 and c1(α)=1α1α2 can be derived, which might improve the usability of the deconvolution procedure in [1].  相似文献

针对采用相关滤波的判别式目标跟踪遇到的瓶颈问题:由于目标快速移动引起边界效应,使得相关滤波器在学习与更新过程中可能会引入错误,最终错误的累积将导致跟踪失败。在采集深度学习特征与样本相似性度量的基础上,提出一种引入交替方向乘子方法的改进相关滤波目标跟踪算法,选择DCNN深度特征有效地表征待跟踪目标的初始状态,通过在线分类过程中样本相似性比对与半监督学习,辅助解决相关滤波器在学习过程中存在的自学习问题。所提目标跟踪算法特别适合训练样本为持续获得的、同时存储空间较小的机器学习过程,提高目标在快速运动与部分遮挡等复杂情况下的跟踪成功率,针对VOT2016标准测试视频的实验表明:当目标面临快速运动时,对比CN、SAMF、STC算法,所提DA-CFT跟踪算法将跟踪成功率分别由60.4%~73.4%、67.2%~82.9%、80.9%~88.1%提升至85.6%~91.0%。  相似文献

Oxygen can only be reduced at the quadruple phase boundary (catalyst, carbon support, ionomer and oxygen) of the cathode catalyst layer with non-conducting electrocatalyst. To maximize the quadruple phase boundary sites is crucial to increase the peak power density of each membrane electrode assembly. The quadruple phase boundary is depending on the ratio of catalyst, carbon support and ionomer. The loading of catalyst layer is also crucial to the fuel cell performance. In this study, non-stoichiometric α-MnO2 manganese dioxide nanorod material has been synthesized and the ratios of carbon, ionomer and catalyst loadings were optimized in alkaline membrane fuel cell. In total, ten membrane electrode assemblies have been manufactured and tested. Taguchi design method has been applied in order to understand the effect of each parameter. The conclusion finds out the ionomer has more influence on the alkaline membrane fuel cell peak power performance than carbon and loading.  相似文献

In this letter, we address the problem of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation with nonuniform linear array in the context of sparse Bayesian learning (SBL) framework. The nonuniform array output is deemed as an incomplete-data observation, and a hypothetical uniform linear array output is treated as an unavailable complete-data observation. Then the Expectation-Maximization (EM) criterion is directly utilized to iteratively maximize the expected value of the complete-data log likelihood under the posterior distribution of the latent variable. The novelties of the proposed method lie in its capability of interpolating the actual received data to a virtual uniform linear array, therefore extending the achievable array aperture. Simulation results manifests the superiority of the proposed method over off-the-shelf algorithms, specially on circumstances such as low SNR, insufficient snapshots, and spatially adjacent sources.  相似文献

Channel estimation is very challenging in millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications since the receiver is usually equipped with a limited number of radio-frequency (RF) chains and a large number of antennas. The receiver can only observe a low-dimensional projection of the received signals due to the huge gap between the numbers of RF chains and antennas. Instead of using the phase-shifter which is not a simple circuit at mmWave, we employ a switch network for analog design, which is equivalent to an antenna selection process. To increase the resolution and accuracy, a nested sampling strategy is used to formulate a virtual array with a larger aperture, aiming to reduce the complexity and power consumption of the system. We also consider the Doppler effect caused by the fast-moving user which may seriously deteriorate the channel estimation accuracy. Based on the covariance fitting criterion, a joint Doppler and channel estimation method is proposed without need of discretizing the angle space, and thus the model mismatch effect can be totally eliminated. Finally, we excavate the temporal variation law of the user to estimate the line-of-sight (LoS) channel in the current time slot by using the estimates from the previous two time slots. Numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of our proposed method.  相似文献
